Shri CS Talwar, IAS (Retd.)

He is popularly known as Abdul Kalam Junior due to his vast knowledge bank and oratory skills. All time fan of swami Vivekananda and currently heading Indian red cross society Punjab. He has served Indian govt. for 25 years, as an IAS officer from 1997 to 2010 and As PCS officer from 1986 to 1997. On different seats of responsibility with clean and distinguish record He owns a dynamic personality and was recommended for international world habitat award with high appreciation from Punjab govt. During his tenure as an IAS officer he holds his greatest achievements of retrieving property works about rupees 4 thousand crores. He also led the challenging project of slum clearance resettlement of jhuggi dwellers and removal of encroachments resulting in availability of commercial land works about 65 acres as administrator of PUDA during his posting at Ludhiana.He has chaired hundreds of functions and workshops on different topics and contributed to character building of millions of youths as his commitment towards nation building. He also brought great laurels for himself and the institute during his first job as English lecturer in a degree college for 11 years.Bringing truth to the common proverb “honhar vidhwan k chikne chikne path”.

He always had a brilliant academic career and always held top three positions in the state or the university throughout. He is also a great sports person and winner of university chess championship during his college time.
